We only process data when you write to us or request a call. ## **1. Hosting and server log files** This website runs on server hardware owned and operated by FH SoftDev in Freihung, Germany. No external hosting provider is involved. When you open the website, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system. This keeps the site secure and helps fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log data is deleted after 14 days at the latest unless it is needed to investigate a security incident. ## **3. Domain and email delivery** The domain fh-softdev.de is registered with IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS also provides the mail server that delivers messages from our forms to us. A data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. ## **4. Contact form and call requests** When you use a form or request a call, we process your details (name, email, optional phone, topic, message, preferred time) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request aims at a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Your details are sent to us by email and are not stored in a database on this website. We delete them once your request is settled unless legal retention periods apply. To prevent abuse, your IP address is briefly kept in the server's memory to limit too many requests in a short time. In addition, your browser solves a small computing task (ALTCHA) while you fill in the form, which our server checks. No cookies are set and no data is sent to third parties. ## **5. Contact by email or phone** If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. ## **6. No cookies, no tracking** We use no cookies and no analytics or marketing tools. Fonts and icons are served from our own server; no connections to Google or other third parties are made. If you switch between light and dark design, your browser stores this setting locally (local storage). It never leaves your device. Storing it is necessary for the function you asked for (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). ## **7. Links to other websites** Links to GitHub, LinkedIn or Bluesky are plain links. Data is only sent to the respective provider once you click one, and their privacy policy applies there. ## **8. Your rights** You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). An email to us is enough. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
