Why jasyPDF exists
Java, PHP and Python have had solid e-invoicing libraries for years. JavaScript had nothing comparable. Creating ZUGFeRD there meant running a Java service or a headless browser.
How it works
jasyPDF describes documents as building blocks, much like a user interface, and writes the PDF file itself. Text is set with real font metrics, tables and long content break cleanly across pages.
Status
The feature set is complete: ZUGFeRD according to EN 16931 is validated, XRechnung is included. jasyPDF already runs in production software, including our own. The release candidate follows at the end of 2026.
